Oh hi there! Time to reintroduce myself as it's be Oh hi there! Time to reintroduce myself as it's been a hot minute. I'm Amy, the face behind the cakes, the emails, the posts and well, all the things. I started Once Upon A Pie 12 years ago now, which just blows my mind. This business started as a side hustle at the markets in Melbourne and is now my full time job here in Hallett Cove since moving here 6 years ago. A little about me, I'm a 40 something neurospicy mum of two primary school aged autistic kiddos who challenge me and make me whole in equal parts. I worked in the travel industry in my pre- cake lady days and have travelled to 51 countries across all continents. If I'm not in the kitchen, you will likely find me either at the school volunteering (yep I'm THAT mum.... on the council, in the uniform shop, running all the fundraising events....) up at the Pilates studio on a reformer or a bike, or at chatime, because I'm addicted and am totally ok about it. The fact I can do what I love for a living whilst being available for my kids and doing the things that make me happy is a true honour, so thankyou for every order, every like and for being here x

July dessert specials! This time of year is a litt July dessert specials! This time of year is a little quieter, but it's a great time to try some different things and shake it up a little. Cold weather means warm puddings and perhaps Christmas in July celebrations. Biscoff crumbles have proved a huge hit so far, and now brownie yule logs are available, these are so rich and delicious, you only need a small portion and it packs a punch!
